Il Palazzetto Restaurant & Wine Bar has just undergone a major make-over, six years after it opened its doors to the public for the first time, giving it a contemporary look and feel with strong accents of a warm dark Pompeian red,  reminiscent of a full-bodied wine of the best vintage. The use of white creates an interesting contrast which reflects a philosophy of innovation yet rediscovers tradition as well as recalling the entire building's neo-classical structure. Mirrors and chandeliers, as well as a retro-illuminated bar, complete this classical yet contemporary jewel in the heart of Rome. Also the menu has changed to reflect the philosphy of the "Italian-style" cocktail hour with a delicious selection of regional wines and snacks. This restaurant and wine bar on the second floor of the 16th-century building overlooking the Spanish Steps therefore becomes a focal point for the glamorous style that says "Made in Italy".
